Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert 2 AAA batteries with correct polarity.
  2. Power On: Press any button to wake up the remote. The pairing process will begin automatically.
  3. Pairing Process: Keep the remote pointed at your TCL Roku TV during the pairing process (approximately 30 seconds).
  4. Confirm Connection: When the pairing is successful, the remote will control your TV immediately.
  5. Test Functions: Test all buttons including power, volume, channel, and navigation to ensure proper functionality.
  6. Voice Control Setup: For voice-enabled remotes, follow on-screen prompts to complete voice setup if applicable.
  7. Additional Devices: Program the remote to control other devices like soundbars or cable boxes using the settings menu.
Note: Keep the remote within 20 feet of the TV and ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and TV for optimal performance.
