Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment and insert 2 AAA batteries with correct polarity.
  2. Power On: Point the remote towards your TCL air conditioner and press the power button.
  3. Auto Code Search: Press and hold the SET button until the indicator light blinks, then release.
  4. Code Programming: Press the POWER button repeatedly until your air conditioner turns on.
  5. Save Code: Press the SET button again to save the code when the air conditioner responds.
  6. Test Functions: Test all remote functions (temperature, mode, fan speed) to ensure proper operation.
  7. Final Check: Ensure all buttons work correctly and the remote controls your air conditioner properly.
Warning: Use only recommended batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.

Button Functions Explained

Troubleshooting
